Anyaman Lontar Diharapkan Menjadi Salah Satu Sentra Industri Kreatif

Kepala Dinas Perindustrian Nuryanti, SE., ME., didampingi Tim Bidang Industri Kreatif Disperin Prov. NTB, dan Sekretaris Dinas Perindustrian Kabupaten Lombok Timur, Lalu Alwan Wijaya mengunjungi Kelompok Dahlia yang merupakan Kelompok Pengrajin Lontar di Desa Suradadi, Kecamatan Terara, Kabupaten Lombok Timur pada hari Jumat (16/04/2021)

Kelompok Dahlia yang diketuai oleh Baiq Sahnun merupakan salah satu dari 5 IKM binaan Dinas Koperasi Lombok Timur. Kelompok Dahlia yang beranggotakan lima orang, sudah lama menekuni industri kreatif anyaman lontar. Dengan memasok lontar dari Bima kemudian diolah di Desa Suradadi. Adapun produk yang dihasilkan yakni toples jajan, tas, tempat botol, dan yang lainnya.

Baiq Sahnun mengungkapkan cukup kewalahan dalam melayani pesanan konsumen dalam waktu singkat, dikarenakan mulai dari pemotongan lontar, pewarnaan, hingga pembuatannya menjadi sebuah produk jadi, dilakukan secara mandiri.

Kadisperin NTB memberikan solusi dengan melakukan pemetaan daerah-daerah di Lombok Timur yang diharapkan mampu menjadi bagian dari industri kreatif, seperti daerah khusus pewarnaan lontar, daerah khusus penganyaman, dan daerah khusus finishing. Menurutnya, ini juga akan meminimalisir harga produk lokal yang tinggi, sehingga bisa bersaing di pasaran tentunya dengan kualitas yang baik. Selain itu, hal tersebut juga akan membantu terbentuknya sentra industri kreatif di Lombok Timur.

Dinas Perindustrian Kabupaten Lombok Timur juga berkomitmen membantu sinergisitas antar IKM anyaman lontar dimulai dari pemasokan bahan baku, hingga finishing produk agar terlihat lebih menarik. Dengan ini, IKM-IKM baru akan bermunculan dan terbentuknya sinergitas yang baik dalam menghasilkan industri kreatif untuk NTB Gemilang.

Lontar Handicraft is Expected to be One of the Creative Industry Centers

The Dahlia group chaired by Baiq Sahnun is one of 5 SMEs assisted by the East Lombok Cooperative Office. The Dahlia group, which consists of five members, has long been engaged in the creative industry of lontar weaving. By supplying lontar from Bima then it is processed in Suradadi Village. The products produced are snack jars, bags, bottle holders, and others.

Baiq Sahnun revealed that she was quite overwhelmed in serving consumer orders in a short time, because starting from cutting the lontar, coloring, and finishing the Lontar was done independently.

Nuryanti provides a solution by mapping areas in East Lombok which are expected to be part of the creative industry, such as a special area for palm-dyeing, a special area for weaving, and a special area for finishing. According to her, this will also minimize the high prices of local products, so that they can compete in the market with good quality. Apart from that, it will also help to establish a creative industry center in East Lombok.

The East Lombok Regency Industry Office is also committed to helping synergies between lontar woven IKMs starting from the supply of raw materials to finishing products to make them look more attractive. Therefore, new SMEs will emerge and form a good synergy in producing creative industries for NTB Gemilang.
